Being a major business and cultural center, as well as being located in the middle of Ohio, Columbus is relatively easy to travel to. Port Columbus Airport is located just 10 minutes east of downtown and services regular flights, which travel to cities across the country.
A number of ground transport options are available at Columbus Airport and the nearby I-70 is the major east-west artery, while the I-71 heads north-south. Taxis and an extensive bus network make it easy to travel around Columbus city, and car hire is also available at several locations across the city and at the airport.

Along with several offices at the airport, car rental companies are dotted throughout the city. Travel around Columbus is fairly straightforward by car, although roads get congested in the mornings and evenings, and in popular districts such as the German Village, Short North, and Arena District. The I-70 dissects the city east-west while I-71 runs north-south. I-270 circles the city, and I-670 connects the airport with downtown Columbus.
